Last updated: to be confirmed at launch
Draft pending legal review

The sections below describe how this website currently works, written as a factual starting point. Skip Dating, Inc. and its legal counsel should review, amend, and approve this text before launch. It is not legal advice.

What this policy covers

This policy covers saferdates.org. It does not cover the Skip app, the Skip website, the merchandise store, or any other third-party service you reach from links on this site. Those services publish their own policies.

Taking the pledge

Taking the pledge does not require an account, an email address, or any personal information. Pledges are counted anonymously, and your individual pledge is not published or attributed to you.

Information you choose to give us

Some optional features ask for information. The launch notification and international waitlist forms collect an email address, and optionally a phone number and country. The Early Advocate profile form collects the details you choose to display publicly, such as a name, role, quote, and social or website links. You can ask us to update or remove this information at any time.

Information stored on your device

This site stores small pieces of information in your browser to remember whether you have taken the pledge, which role you chose, and which impact checklist actions you have marked complete. This is stored locally on your device, is not sent to us, and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser data.

Photos used in the image tools

The social profile frame and dating app badge tools process your photo entirely inside your own browser. Your photo is never uploaded to us or stored on our servers.

Analytics and cookies

To be confirmed before launch, depending on which analytics tools are enabled. This section should state what is collected, why, and how visitors can opt out.

Service providers

This site is built and hosted on Webflow, which processes form submissions on our behalf. Links from this site may take you to Skip, the merchandise store, and the mobile app stores, each of which handles your information under its own policy.

Your choices

You can clear the information stored in your browser at any time, unsubscribe from any email you receive from us, and ask us to remove details you have submitted. Contact us using the address below.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
